Go & invest the $30 & buy a pit pass at your local race event. Walk around and look at what is being run on their bikes. Talk to anyone who will talk to you. A shocks only job id to put the wheel on the ground for traction. Looser traction, loose the race. Forget about what unskilled people say as well as their unqualified opinions. Like shock technology from different shock company's will cost about the same however what is inside is quite a different story. Call a company that interests you and ask. If they do not know how to answer, move on. You will be further ahead by doing your research before hand in place of having worthless junk hanging on a nail in your garage. Good luck.

i rode on a bike with ohlins and a bike with legends. holy **** legends all day long. hands down the best suspension i have had on a harley to date. their fork kit and 14" rears make for the plushest ride i have ever felt and can be dialed in nice and stiff for really beating on it.
