Default clutch!

i got a 09 soft tail did a burnout now gears wont catch seems as if stuck in nutrel when in gear i let off the clutch and it dont stall or move forward checked plates blueing on steel friction plates seem a lil worn out i took some sand paper to steel plates removed blueing and added scuffing a bit but steel nothing any clues as to wut i did wrong or is it in fact just need to replae the plates bolth steel and friction?

Did you check the adjuster on the clutch side? I would start by performing a complete adjustment... Shorten the cable all the way, adjust the clutch side, adjust the cable, see what happens.

Maybe you just wore enough friction material that you need to tighten things up before it will fully engage...
