Speaking of rallies and such, ever checked out The Horse Smoke Out East in NC? Some friends have gone in past years and say it's one helluva crazy azz party. They're relocating this year to Farmington Dragway SW of Winston-Salem not far about 20-30 miles from Mt Airy NC off the the Blue Ridge Pkwy June 20th-22nd.
Hmmm.... not sure if dates match up or distances, but maybe a side trip?
