Default Clutch cable?

So I'm riding yesterday. I start to notice when I pull clutch lever, it seems "grindy". As i continue, my clutch lever gets looser and it becomes harder to shift gears. By the time i get it home, I've got to mash down into 1st gear and neutral isn't an option. My limited intelligence tells me clutch cable. Any thoughts from people smarter than me?
Thanks!

Dude, mine too, as of like two weeks ago. I have to tighten it every single ride.

Could be the cable or the throwout bearing.

First thing you need to do is the simplest: a complete clutch and cable adjustment by the book. This will eliminate a poorly adjusted clutch as the culprit and you can go from there.
