Hello. I just bought and installed a set of used HD saddle bags (unknown part #) on my 06 Low Rider, first day out after install, backing out of parking space at work and the buckle gets caught on the wall and before I noticed I snapped it off. Through google I was able to find that there may be a "service kit" for the female side of the clip which is what broke and I am wondering if anyone has any knowledge or experience with this. Came across part numbers 90454-04 and 90514-09 but am unable to find it anywhere at the moment, i will try can call Harley tomorrow and see what they have to say.
Rather than waste time and money looking for something that matches, call a friendly parts department when theyre not busy...same thing happened to my HD saddlebag a month ago and the parts guy sent me the service kit pdf...now I have it replaced and bought a spare...

if i had the part number for the bags, it would be much easier. this forum is always so helpful and i searched first and found two posts that had outdated links and then i figured i would just ask. I do have the pieces and I will probably end up going to NYC Harley over the weekend.
That's great, since you don't have to unstitch/restitch to get the old one off and the new one on, because not everyone has a sewing machine that can sew thick leather.
