Exclamation swapping bars, cables too long?

Hello all so i just got some Lucky Dave's lucky 13 13" bars and i guess when i mocked them up i order the cables too long. what kind of problems can i run into with cables that are too long. I'm okay with the way it looks with the cables being too long however i want to make sure i'm not gonna wreck anything with running them like that.

So far only thing i have noticed is that there is a fair bit of play in the throttle that i can get rid of

thanks in advance

Cables that are too short can cause real safety issues. Longer ones are mostly cosmetic problems. Sometimes creative routing can help hide some of the extra length so they don't look too sloppy. Still, having the cables with proper length is the best way to go.
Is it too late to exchange them?

Cables that too long can be just as dangerous as to short. They can get tangled in the fork neck and prevent turning
