Default Wide glide. Fatbob trees

Hey everyone. I have been researching on swapping my 2013 wideglide triple trees to the fatbob to reduce rake and improve handleing. I have searched and my question is with most fatbob trees around my year or bike having the handlebar clamps on the trees. Do i need the top tree clamp to reduce rake? Or is the rake in the bottom tree? Thanks

fat bob doesnt have the clamp on the tree. It uses typical riser pattern in fact same risers as your wide glide. If I understand correctly you will need both trees to work properly. I just put wide glue tubes and a performance spring set up in my lowrider so I will say it is a little quicker turn in. But it does raise bike a decent amount in front too. So keep that in mind.

Ok yea after a little more research. It does appear they are. For some reason people on ebay are listing them as fat bob. I guess maybe because they are both 49mm. I may just check with harley tomorrow for a new set

Ye downside of a fat bob is they are like the bastard child of the dyna line. Good luck man. And post pics when done.

Those are Street Bob. Wide glide and fat bob are the same width but Fat Bob has less rake--Negative rake actually. No OEM DYNA Fat Bob trees have integrated risers. Seems the foreign companies on eBay and amazon are grouping Fat Bob and street bob together and they're wrong.

Just go buy the fatbob trees from a dealer, that’s what I did before I switched to my current set up. I bought the black ones

Agree with above and ,yes, you need both top and bottom trees to match.

Here is what my bike looked like with the Blk Fatbob trees. I actually sold these about 3 months ago to a guy doing the same sort of swap as you, he wanted to de-rake the front a bit and swapped his stock wideglide tree which has a rake to it, for these....
