This is probably a dumb question. I love the way the 2018 fatbob speedo/tach with indicator lights look with the 2018 and newer fatbob. Is there any chance that this set would work with a 2011 super glide custom. I'm looking to delete the dash and either get the BBC dash cover or KNS Customs dash delete cover. And mount some sort of either oem Harley speedo and tach dual setup using a dual dash gauge set up. And covering the stock oem dash with a BBC or KNS dash delete cover. Or use the dakota digital set up or the motogadgets moto scope pro set up. While using the 11 inch hardcase performance risers.
in a nutshell could the 2018 fatbob speedo tach with indicator lights somehow be used with a 2011 superglide custom? Or should I just stick to the dual oem gauges. Dakota digital or motogadgets gauge
I'm not sure when the CAN bus came into play but that's a consideration. I think cvaria tried a new gauge and it didn't work, but that may not be a definitive answer. I recall thinking that swapping pins around in the connector may have been a possibility.
I've got a Motoscope Mini and Motosign on my 99 and it works great. Definitely NOT plug-and-play though. Are you willing to hack up your wiring harness? And then there's that CAN bus question I never had to work thru.

I wouldnt be the one hacking up the wiring harness. That would be left to my buddy. If anything I would buy a new harness in case he hacked up my old one so much that it was ruined. But what would have to be done in order for this to work? What parts would need to be bought and what gets hacked up?

The gauge set up on a new Street Bob is just another reason l'm seriously thinking about moving on from Dynas.
