O7 Dyna V&H Fuelpak???
I ordered the Vance and Hines fuelpak for my 07 Dyna and think I am going to return it. I am not using Vance and Hines pipes and was told it won't work for me. I wanted to know if the unit was on my bike and I had used their exhaust what type of performance gains would I see?
Does it increase the rev limit?
Better response on take off from stop?
Affects on fuel milage?
I am more or less running a set of Hooker headers free flowing without back pressure and they do not show a setting for that with my year make and model so I think fuel pak tech support says it won't work for me due to research and developement at this time.
My other option would be a Power Commander because the cost of other systems is a little high in my opinion for what they offer.
I am not planning on any other mods currently which is what I already have. Pipes and a big air kit. My main problem is of course running lean, sluggish take off, popping and backfiring on decel. If I could remedy this with such a simple device as a fuelpak then I would and be done with it.
Any suggestions?

Sorry yourfuelpak won't work with your current pipes. The fuelpak works with a number of pipes, I don't have my instru. here with me. I put the Pak on with V&H slipon mufflers and a K&N air setup. My mileage went from 42 MPG to 57 MPG on a trip..Around town 52 MPG. 07 Low Rider with 3K miles on her.I'm very happy.

Dude, dealer installed the fuel pak on my 07 Wide Glide along with the SE stage one a/c and SE pipes. That fuel pak will work with any pipes or configuration, you just need the right settings or map.
I first tried to look up the proper map for the fuel pak given my bike and it's configuration on Vance and Hine's website but it wasn't listed. I then called Vance and Hines tech support and they got back to me the next day with the proper map to use.
I found their customer support to be very good, if you can't find the proper map to use on their site, just call 'em. http://www.vanceandhines.com/fuelpak.html
