Very nice! If it were mine, I think I would be comfortable doing shocks, fork internals, pipe and intake... I'm never really in the "keep it stock" camp, but this looks very nice, original, and rare. If I wanted power, I would do cams and headwork, possibly bigger bore. But I would probably want to keep the original cases and heads for originality.
For 9 Grand I would jump all over it .. The FXR4 is the only Bike I regret selling even though got a Sweet price for it .. Other than Stage 1 pretty much left it alone and kept all original parts ..

More comfortable than most bikes except a Touring Frame .. That Saddlemen Sissy Bar Pack Holds quite a bit than it looks and made an Excellent Built in Back Rest as Well ..
