they work, had them on my switchback until the FP3 came out.. was running a V&H slip on with a K&N air filter
set to 60% front and 70% for rear cylinder.. if you plan on doing a bunch of mods though I would save up for the FP3 and be done with it

I used the FLVIED before I bought the VH FP3. The only thing that the VIED will do is adjust the F/A ratio. This is a good thing if you have a lot of backfiring through the exhaust.

They do what they're designed to do. You can see a Report at this LINK that gives an overview of how they work, and compares them to popular tuners.

It basically boils down to the two pots that you adjust are variable resistors which trick the ecm into thinking that the O2 sensors are reading values that are not correct.

Yes and they work. A lot of people use them with a pipe and a high flow air filter. They worked well for me until I could save up money for a tuner.

I ran them with Stage one air cleaner and slip on mufflers until I bought a Fuel Pack. I even left them on and dialed the VIED's back to 50% post fuel pack.

I ran them until I went with a tuner...they worked very well and I could have left them on because I only have modified slip on's and air cleaner.
