Does anyone know for sure if a full sissy bar with side plates and quick release mounts with luggage rack from harley off of a 2010-2017 harley low rider will fit a 2010 harley fat bob.
i have found a used one online. the guy that has it says he had it on a 2010 low rider and on a 2017 low rider.
he says it will fit but that is what everyone says when they are trying to sell something.
he doesnt have the part numbers to run on the harley website. and wont measure it for me either.
I have a 2010 Fat Bob and i want to know for sure if it will fit. I cant take my bike to the part as its winter up here in canada and the guy lives 4 hours away and i dont want to waste my time driving down to find out when i get home with the part that it doesnt fit.
hope someone can help me out
Thanks in advance!
This is the one i Found Online (Actual Pictures Of The Bar)
I believe it will fit but cant say 100% so I would suggest looking up a sissy bar on hd website, and checking the figment against both models. If one quick detach sissy bar will fit both models, then that one should as well.
It will NOT fit. Only the side plates are good. The sissy bar is wider and makes the setup wider. The luggage rack has to be fatter too. Even the back rest pad is different. The fat bob shares these parts with the wide glides. Then there are all the other dynas.
I got bit even after inheriting a back rest and figuring all this out the hard way. I got a luggage rack on eBay for wide glides and the fat bob, but it was just mislabeled and wrong. Too narrow of course. Due to the volume of different parts, hopefully you can just grab the numbers from HD. Plus there are multiple like you can get a taller or shorter sissy bar or different pads.
