Get your Harley parts catalog and look up any sissy bar. If under the description it says it fits both an 11 WideGlide and 11 FatBob, then you are probably good to go on the one you're looking at.
Have an 08 Fat Bob myself here and I have discovered 99% of the time if it fits the Wide Glide it will fit the Bob. Only exception is the front fork pieces which are bigger, but everything else seems to fit like a nice glove. So that's just my rule of thumb on mine.
Yeah it's wider and the spacing of the bolts are WAY different. Tried to buy one off a guy off craigslist one day and we tried to put it on when I met him. There was no way it was fitting with the width not big enough and the quick release bolts being in different spots completely.
After I bought one for the Fat Bob I compared to it one on a guy's Super Glide during a conversation about this at a bike night and they are vastly different shaped even with the screws being different places on the side plates to the backrest even.
Recommend you go aftermarket, there is a much bigger selection there. I would have but got a great deal on one that got scuffed up in a wreck for $100 on eBay, so I just had it powdercoated.
I bought one off ebay - $209 delivered which isn't a bad price considering it is close to $400 for the mount, bar and pad together. The docking kit was $30 - not included
