Default Changing Grips ran into a issue

So got my new grips and wanted to change them out this weekend. Got the Top Torx screw out on the left side but the bottom one isn't moving and I think is striped from the PO. Anyone had to remove a strip Torx screw before? I was thinking of trying a rubber band with the bit to see it that worked but if not maybe slice a slot in the bit for a screw driver?

Though

Suggestion

I swear every time I work on this bike there is always a screw or bolt that is/was strip by the PO.

Vise grips would work. Or use a punch and a hammer and go around it until it frees up. You need a new screw anyway so just get that bastard out of there.

Left handed drill bit set for bolt removal. Best tools I ever purchased.

Are you sure your using the right size torx bit or screw driver ? If you think it is, then take a pair of vice grips( if it is a bit ) or if it is a screwdriver and hit it on the torx screw with a hammer. It may reform the torx screw head enough that it will come out. If not, then like previously mentioned, get the proper size L/H drill bit.

I can't remember if it was t-25 or t-27, but I was able to bust one loose on a dodge durango throttle body with just a flat bladed screwdriver when a sensor died and I had no tools with me.
