Don't get your knickers in a twist just yet.I didn't see your post in the softail forum. It's appears to be 11.5 diameter.Tough to get super accurate measurement with it on the bike,a few beers in me and it's 12:40 am. For what it's worth some of us actually ride ours.HellI got a huge dent on the other side of my tank(hence this angle for the picin my posts[:@]).I just put 500 miles on it today running to Hollister and back and I ride it harder than a two bit hooker on shore leave. I do know what you mean about some of the Softail crowd though[:-]Hope that helps some.
oh brother..... this is a stupid post....i own several bikes and you dont see me griping about a certain group or type of bike rider.....grow up....this is a forum....nobody has to answer any question....they will when they can.
It sure was nice of someone to validate my point. Sorry, we're not grown up enough for you. Maybe I should have pumped 30 grand into a chromed-out softail so I could be mature, instead of spending half that on a Dyna and using the rest to send my daughter to college!
Hey Trotter, where do you get the popcorn eating icon? Those little suckers are funny.
[sm=popcorn.gif] when you click "reply" there is a small box on the left with some smileys, and "more smileys" below them... you will get a long as list of them
I don't think you get the option when doing a "quick reply"
edit: oh yeah, I just looked, you get the same list in the quick reply

Yeah its Stupid that we actually try to help each other out around here. You know its seems that no matter how many times someone post questions that have been answered over and over and over "what type of oil" or "whats a tank lift"and so on. They arent beaten down here, there is always someone here willing to take the time and answer them.constructively.
Sorry but I dont that there are many of us Dyna guys here that would leave someone on the side of the road.
I would also like to take the time to thank everyone here
for all their help.
I agree, I think Dyna folks are real, down to earth bike lovers.
And if a newby ask's a question, it's just as easy to answer it
as it is to say, "DO A SEARCH".
