I have a 2016 street bob with a stage one breather and a RR2 2-1 pipe with a power vision tuner. I ride around 3k RPMs and higher motor is stock but I want more power. I love you rip the throttle but I also do equal highway and city riding . I have a $2k budget. What cams and combinations can you guys shine some light on for me.
Looking at the fuel Moto 107 kit and the cams given I dont have the extra money for ported heads. What compression and cams would you recommend keeping in mind I love to ride the hell out of it.
One way would be to install the SE 259e cam and recommended upgrade components, S&S premium lifters, adjustable push-rods, and shave the heads to 10.5 compression. That will use up your budget. That will definitely give you a bump in performance. Again, one way of doing it.

If your not in a huge hurry to get this done, I would keep an eye on the member market place of this forum. Some great deals can be had. I just sold an Andrews 48H,which would have worked great on your build, for $125.00. You'll definitely make that $2K go further. Also, you might want to think about changing sprockets to 30/68. You'll definitely feel the extra torque, and still be at a reasonable RPM on the highway
Figure out what cam you want; find pistons at the bore you want and will get you as close to your target compression as you can; find a machinist who can bore and hone your cylinders, can install compression releases, and possibly deck your heads; clean up your heads; and install it all yourself and it would be about $2k for parts, gaskets, and tools. There will be some fine tuning to get the compression right like head gasket thickness and how much to deck the heads.
I got a Woods Bros 555 cam and roller lifters from Fuel Moto. See if they have a tune they will give you for the combination. Nice broad power band, never loads up and is now damm fast. I already have a 2-1 pipe and K&N air cleaner. But that's all for the motor mods. Nice streetable combo that does not require any added head work. You'd have enough left over for shocks and then some.
