I am finally back on a Dyna. After about 9 months without one, I just picked up this 2000 Dyna Convertible last week.
A little about her:
1, well now 2, owners
5003 miles
Everything is original minus the Vance & Hines and the smoked turn signal lenses (which as soon as I save up some more cash and find a set, the oem pipes will be going back on).
No tears or rips in the bags.
She just had all the fluids changed, brakes flushed, new tires, and a carb rebuild.
The cam chain tensioner shoes are good at the moment; maybe at the next oil change I will put the Cyco ones on.
My wife says I just can't stay away. Hopefully, this will be the last one for a while. The FXDS checked off everything I have been wanting, so we will see.
Future plans:
Install oem pipes
Maybe an engine guard, solely for the purpose that I have a bum knee which tends to give out on the rare parking occasion.
Otherwise I would like to keep Rosa as close to stock as possible
Oh....and lots of miles, planning a trip to Yellowstone this summer.
