Funny about the riser change - Imust be ahead of the curve - LOL, I just installed almost the exact same risers on my '07 Bobstah only went with 3" risers, new MOCO ones look more like 1" ??
I like the black bars too ... at $59 they are not bad value either (yeah i know I could get them coated for a little less) ...
WE HAVE 10 INCHES THESE ARE 12 INCHES , ALSO I CANNOT FIND THE NEW RISERS IN THE ONLINE CATALOG , ONE OF MY IDEA'S FOR MY BOB IS THE BAR AND SHIELD EMBLEM WHICH I HAVE 2 SETS THAT I BOUGHT 2 CHOOSE ONE, WELL I WILL HAVE TO SEE BOTH ROCKERS IN PERSON AND MAYBE ORDER ONE OF THEM , THE NEW DOUBLE HEAD LIGHT BOBBER IS A COPY FROM EUROPE , THOSE GUYS WERE DOING THAT FOR YEARS TWIN HEALIGHT , FATBOY WHEEL , I ACTULY WANTED TO DO MINE THAT WAY , WELL NOW THEY HAVE THE PARTS , FENDER , ETC. BUT I WILL NOT TRY TO MAKE MY BIKE THE NEW BOBBER , WHICH IS VERY EASY WITH ALL THE PARTS YOU GET BUY FROM THE DEALER , WE HAVE THE FRAME ALREADY , WATCH OUT FOR CLONES IN THE FUTURE !![&:]
I agree ... I like my '07 ... I don't want to copy unless it works for me ... I hate the twin headlight look but might put a triple set on which I do like ... I think the new aircover is naff ... why did they not look at all the ones on the market and follow the trend for a circular, simple one ? it all comes down to personal preference i guess. I'm glad the black bars are 12", that decides it for me as I want a little more height in the bars, i'll order some next time i'm shipping parts over.
I don't think so ... there's certainly plenty of slack in the electrics ... plenty on here have fit 12" bars ... 14" is pushing it ... https://www.hdforums.com/m_1805834/tm.htm
With those 12" bars ... would you be required to change out cables and such on an 07?
The on line Harley catalog says 2006-2008Street Bob uses their stock equipmentso the Black 12 inchers will go right on !!! I was going to go with the GIMP bars but I'm not going to pay $200.00 for a name , besides i keep hearing they are known for loosing up within the risers , sounds like junk to me , H.D. $58.00 sounds right !! I will order mine this week or when available !!
