It is to act like a upside down forks...

and I think big als has the coolest one 👌

Prevents flex in the forks and if the pressure is uneven between the two forks it helps keep the wheel and axle properly aligned parallel to the forks.

Superbrace, hands down the best design out there. Two pieces, four bolts, clamps on to your fork.

Some of the braces have 8 screws holding them together!!

Braces are great if you like to corner hard and predictably. Would you notice in every day riding, probably not. Most bike makers use the fender mount as a quasi brace so all forks benefit from some stiffening in this area. If you really want the fork tight with zero wiggle they are the way to go.

You do not remove the fender to add a Superbrace.

You center the bike and fork and clamp it on.

Today I had to remove my forks because I am upgrading to cartdriges. I didnt break the drain plugs. So I put the superbrace back on and it held the lowers so that I could break the drain plugs.

So it offers stiffness to the lower fork in every plane.

Easiest thing to install you ever added.

Use locktite.

Picking up a screaming eagle 49mm brace tonight. Will let u know if it made a difference to an other stock handling bike.
