Hey all, been a member of the forums for quite some time but I just picked up a 2006 Street Bob to keep my Tri Glide company in the garage.

2006 Street Bob with 42000 miles. It had a compression test and all looks good. Starts right up cold and runs very well, Screaming Eagle slip ons, Mimi apes with pull back risers, some king of minimal HD seat...not bad and I feel like a got a good price. Color is a copper, orange look, not sure of the color....want to pick up a windshield of some type, noting to big. Would also like to move the ignition switch to center of dash and move the turn signals to the forks from the handle bars.

Any issues I should be aware of? Thanks in advance for suggestions

06 Dynas have a two piece stator where the bolts that hold the pieces together could back out and tear up the primary. Some replace the stator and some have it removed to weld the bolts in. The IPB is known to fail as well so upgrading to the enclosed Baker bearing is a good idea.
