I have a 2011 FXDC, put a 2 inch riser with a 1 inch pull back.

No issue with cables.

Reviving an old thread. I just picked up a 2008 FXDC and need to add risers. Can you tell me what risers you're using/where you got them?

I just have my stock 2011 fxdc risers with DK Customs 2” riser extensions. They came with all hardware needed. I used stock riser bushings but should have at least got some polly ones as there is a little slop. Also measure the circumference of the bottom of your riser. I got the “fat” one but they are way wider than I needed for that riser.

Do your riser extensions give you more pull back and height; or just height?

They mostly gave me height. I’d say the feel is maybe slightly more pulled back but that was minimal IMO. If you want more than just a slight pullback you are better off going with a riser that has the height and pullback you are looking for.
