I have been thinking of getting one of these type of tail lights because I ordered some bags that will make me remove my rear blinkers.
I had a kyryaken panacea on my 06 and I really liked it. worked great for a long time
I still have it, I installed it on my 14 but I got electrical warning/issue lights non stop so I took it back off
I have heard that it does not work well with the computer system I have on my year, canbus or whatever
I wonder if there is anyway to make it work or if I should just get a new one made for the canbus sytem.
I would question a light that says it works for all year models since the computers are very different (also I don't know **** about computers ecm canbus and all that my brain just goes blank)
I had the Panacea tailight first. The module went out within a year. The light had intermittent connections another year later. Replaced it with the Custom Dynamics tailight. After two years it also had intermittent connections in the wiring to the circuit board. I put the $30 Amazon light on this year and while the wiring diagram on Amazon isn't accurate for the brake and running light positions to use and it comes with no instructions, I haven't had issues with it yet. It has only been a few months though. I'm not exactly sure what you are talking about with the free spinning nuts on the baseplate. The lens is screwed to the baseplate and the bolts are secured by the nuts in the baseplate and has nothing to do with the lens other than there are mounting holes on the sides for the bolts.
