Hi guys, Im posting here because of the age but Im replacing the big orange turn signals on my bike with smaller ones and really want to convert them to stop/tail/turn and remove the tail light. I know for the newer bikes Harley offers a kit to do it but its not offered for the older ones. Is there an easy way to do it without totally mutating the wiring harness? Any help will be appreciated.
Harley kits are plug and play for their recent/current bikes, but that doesn't mean they can't be adapted. An example is that they have changed the electrical connectors they now use, which are not compatible with our Evo's connectors, but they can be replaced with a little effort. I have twincam foglamps on my Evo, which I simply adapted the wiring to work, using an aftermarket switch.
