Speeds over 80 sure. But east coast doesn't have what you would call canyons. I think stopping power is more important to me at this point. My motor mounts aren't giving me much of an issue currently. I will look into he throttle body some more as well.

Smarter to be able to stop that power with better brakes. Many swear by the Predator like it’s some magic fix. I had one on Amy last bike and it wasn’t the bees knees. It seems for every 1 person that loves it there’s another that says it’s money down the drain. I think in the end, it’s probably a good product but then it brings out the problem with the rear mount or top mount.

I say say if you’re adding power/speed, do the brakes so you can harness that speed.

Brakes, a definite. First order of business when camping up the bike. Folks disregard at their own peril. Listening to the stage 1=more power crew. 120 hp on stock brakes. That's good right?

My stock dual disk with stock 4 puck calipers will lock the front wheel if I grap them with enough force. I do realize the radial calipers from Brembo or a metric crotch rocket will give better feel/control, but is that really better stopping power ?

Some updated photos since I've been on the road for the last 6 weeks. New 110" jugs, 89cc heads, feuling 574 camchest kit, tokico calipers off of a GSXR and speed merchant radial caliper mounts. Also put in a new SE heavy duty spring.

And she's all finished up. 96" to 110" with the S&S Sidewinder kit. All did the Reaper 574 camchest kit with plate, cams, and oil pump. Upgraded the front brakes to Tokico calipers and speed merchant brackets. Rebuilt the front suspension. New clutch spring.

After all was said and done, I ended up buying a 2016 FXDLS while the bike was spending its last day on the lift. So naturally now this old girl is for sale.

I think the bike you're selling is most likely quicker than the one you just purchased. Good luck with the sale.

My stock bike, yes maybe so. But without splitting the cases the street bob is pretty much done. The FXDLS gives me a stock platform just a 1/2 step below the bike that was built. The price I got it for was a no brainer as well.

It's pretty rare to find one at a good price. I surely wouldn't mind having cruise control and ABS.
