What a day. I did the relocation kit for my new dyna 2007 street bob. The detachable plates came with 2 long screws. It says in the instructions to put them in the front with the small sissy bar spacer. It says to put the longer sissy bar spacers in the back. Now there is not enough screw to tighten that up.
Any ideas? I have looked at the instructions and the spaces so go on the outside and not the inside.
As far as the relocation kit how do you get those small copper connectors out of the hole for the new ones and what do you used to crimp the new ones?
If you look at the new connectors you see there is small tap that locks it into the plastic part of the connector. I took a very small mini straight blade screw driver and pushed it between the plastic and the metal connector the pulled the connector out with pliers.
I have been waiting over a month for my re-locater kit. Stealer says another 2 weeks and then I am number 700 on the list. Should NOT take that long. Must be a popular item. I'll just wait and wait and wait. Good day to all

I'm not sure if this is what your trying to do... but I had to make 6 trips to the stealer before they gave me all the right parts. Was always missing someting.. bolts, brackets, etc... Maybe they didnt give you the right kit. With this set up there should only be one set of bolts need for the front bracket. the rear is hollow for the signal wires to pass through.
