Default Auxiliary Brake Light Conversion Kit

I have a 2000 DWG. Really want to turn the rear signals in running/brake lights, but none of the HD conversion modules say they will work with a 2000 DWG...it says 2002 and later. Is there nothing for a year 2000?

I have a 2000 FXDX, same wiring as your bike. I use a Custom Dynamics Triple Play, which easily allows run/turn/brake functionality from the rear blinkers. Super easy installation, and lots of programming options. Here's the manufacturer's link:

Lots of other vendors sell it, so pick whoever you prefer. I got mine from RevZilla. It's a nicely made unit.

I used a Badlands Illuminator Pro III. I think the Triple Play would have been a better option, tho.

Actually I went back to the 2000 catalog. Part 91698-99 is the conversion module but it looks like it may be obsolete?

If you do want to use our module, I recommend getting the Load Balancing Smart Triple Play. It will make your signals operate as run/brake/turn, and you won't have to get any additional modules separately. This one has everything in one box.

@Custom Dynamics
Wow, is the "all-in-one" module new? I didn't see it when I was looking at everything a few months ago. That would've been a much better solution for me, since I was simultaneously converting to LED blinkers (I was already running one of your LED taillights). I always find your stuff to be nicely made and high quality. My only complaint was the need for two sizeable modules in a confined space (and a space that I may need for other things). It's crowded in there!

That's true, the modules can be tough to fit down in there! The Load Balancing Triple Play is new, we just released it right before Sturgis. It combines the two that you have currently, but the casing is twice as thick. It still saves a lot of room since you don't have all the extra wiring.
