Default Brake Light Conversion

I installed the brake light conversion kit on the Street Glide today (took all of 10 minutes). The kit replaces the amber turn signal lenses with red for a better rear view look and a new module uses the turn signals with the brake light for three times the brake light. Really easy install and best of all the kit is only $50. even from the local dealer.

I converted my turn signals over to the turn/brake lights when I installed the Kuryaykncustom turn signal bar with theLED SilverBullets. Many people comment how bright the lights are and even brighter when the brake lights come on. I then added the XSiting Lighting Xe7R HID headlight and now can see better at night and am more visible from the front and back.

I used the same kit from HD in addition to the LED kit from Biketronics. I have always thought there wasnt a big difference in brightness between running light and brake light. My brother was behind me the other night and he told me it looked like my brake lights were on all the time, they were so bright. I have ordered Biketronics Tailbones kit, we will see if this does a better job.

My wife and daughter thought the same thing when I converted my brake/turn lights. I love how bright those lights are back there.

Anything to make us more visible.

But not good if you can hardly tell your brake lights come on.

One of the best, most cost-effective, and easiest-to-install upgrades I have made to my FLHT. Unlike FLHT above, I find that although the running lights are very bright, there is a significant difference in brightness when the brakes are applied.
