Sorry if this has been covered before but I did a search and couldn’t find anything. I have a 2016 FXDL with 2500 miles. Bought it about 3 weeks ago with 1500 miles and all was good. In the last few days I noticed a pronounced buzz on acceleration between 2500-2800 rpms. It doesn’t feel motor related. It’s so hard to tell when riding but it sounds like it’s coming from the front of the handlebars. Just to be safe I tightened everything I could think of.... exhaust, air cleaner, headlight, front motor mount, mirrors, horn, and the little clips holding the lines in place. Checked the license plate and bracket as well as the seat screw. Still buzzes. Anything I’m missing that it could be?
Also not sure if it’s related but the metal L pieces under the throttle for the throttle cable and return cable are loose. Should these have a lot of play?

When a metallic buzz appeared on my bike at certain revs it turned out to be the heat shields on the exhaust coming loose, such that the flanges at the bottom of the front and rear down-pipe shields were vibrating together where they disappear behind the main heat shield. A jubilee clip around the flanges on those shields and the pipe cured the buzz, and is hidden behind the main shield.
