Yes, clutch adjustment is critical with a Burly EZ Boy device. I use about 10 degrees instead of 180 degrees on the adjuster screw. It works well. No drag, so neutral can be found cold or hot from a stop.
Maybe a easy pull stunt clutch would help alot, RSC or elite. Try adjusting your shift lever down there or switch to a better shifting rod if yours are stock.
just looked at elite , do there levers work with harley perch ?
I've wondered about power and clutches too. My 97" makes around 110/110. I run a Barnett extra plate Kevlar pack and have no slippage (though I didn't notice any with the stock pack either). My worry is the basket, which is stock. Any opinions on what power level merits a stronger basket? No drag racing or wheelies, but aggressive twisty road riding.
have you done any engine work to yours ?? Since you have an easy pull
Engine is stock. Reason I changed is to be able to pull the clutch with two fingers and a lot of urban driving. Yeah, I managed to pull with two fingers with stock also, but with the stunt lever my hand dont cramp up after two pulls 🤷♂️
its hard to find neutral probably because you have the adjustment closer to 7/8 1 turn out. When adjusting place your hand on the clutch lever and turn til you feel the lever kick out and have resistance do not go by the feel of the adjustment screw, then turn the adjustment screw half turn out. Adjust slack and test ride.

The clutch basket is always a weak point that concerns me. I swapped to a Evolution Industries clutch and basket. I also swapped to a hydraulic clutch. Now I have the best of both worlds. Rock solid clutch and easy clutch pull!

i got me an easypull clutch from moto-elite but it doesnt seem to fit my switchs . Have you had any problems ? Seems like they fit til 2011, in 2012 they switch to a different shell on the bottons and moved the clutch switch . Mine is a 2014 dyna

I don't think you'll have any issues. The problems with hub cracking is from the later 6 speeds. I have a 2000 FXDX that has about 65000 miles on it of which 43000 was as a 116 ci that made around 125/130. No problems with the clutch other than having to rebuild. Was using a stock plate count barnet Kevlar with 480 lb spring. Now it's a +1 kevlar and a new 480 lb spring. Bike has been raced.. I know a guy with a 2000 springer, that used to race AHDRA ET class with 95ci. Never had an issue other than the early +1 clutch dragged in his bike. At one time he got 136 out of it with a NOS shot.

I cant imagine why that would do anything with the fitment. If you meant the safety clutch button, I dont know. I dont have that.
