That is not a fitment problem. Like you said, in 2011 HD came with the safety clutch whatever switch. I dont know if the year number is correct, Im just quoting you. Any ways, this button prevent you to start the bike when its in gear and the clutch lever is not engaged. You can still fully use the bike, just start it in neutral or bypass that switch and remove it, I would.
I'd bypass the switch. You don't want to have to find neutral in the middle of a busy intersection... (With my luck, the ecm would do something weird since it though the clutch was always pulled in...) Maybe you can thread a small bolt with a stop nut into the lever to actuate the switch.
That's what I suggested above. Make sure the bolt is at right angles to the switch when it makes contact, and put a thin nut on it so you can lock it in place by jamming the nut against the lever, or use red loctite. (Make sure you get the length right before you put the loctite on it!)

yes im gonna take my time on it and not Fĺĺk it up 😂
How would they know?
they do a full inspection of the bike when i want to put plates on it . Denmark doesnt want you to do custom bikes . Do all the mods im doing are with in what they say is ok .

Dude, they dont check the clutch switch 😂 thats just stupid haha. You could just have the oem lever for the inspection I guess................. 🤷♂️
And why mill out the clamp?!?

I can do that , but they check out everything , you dont know how many hoops i have to go though just to get my harley home and road legal . Most harleys here is mostly stock couse if the cops sees something they call it to inspection , and the paperwork is a nightmare .
ill mill it to make it flush with the switch housing and just to lock it in with it before clamping it down .

I know a bit of the hd community in Denmark, its not like that at all... a lot of custom bikes and I have seen several custom meet ups as well.
Just curious, how long have you been in the motorcycle scene? Im not trying to shame you or something, so no offense. This is my 8th years I think, its not that long.
When the cops are sending the bike for inspection, do you have to go right away or do you get a date?
But anyways, by bypassing the clutch switch I meant to just connecting the two wires together, or just taping the switch in locked position😂. No way the gov would find that out lol

No worries 😉 im new in the harley game, if i knew it all i wouldnt be on here asking for help . its my first harley and i dont want them have any thing to put there dirty finger on .
depending on where you are in denmark, yes some do custom bikes but they could be on swedish or german plates where they can do alot to there bikes , or they do and hope nobody notices or they know the inspector .
they passed a new law this year that pretty much killed the classic car made it more diffecult to import from america .
If they stop me and wants an inspection , they give me a date and i show up, i dont know if they can give me a ticket for things like noise ...
