I am absolutely stuck between a D&D Fat Cat and a Bassani RR 2-1 Long Megaphone. Anyone have either and can recommend? Going to purchase and install myself, so if there are any fitment issues or things I need to know for a 06 FXDWGI let me know. Much appreciated and merry Christmas all.

I have the D&D Fat Cat on an 06 Low Rider. The good things are it's long so no interference with bags or need for a heat guard there, great performance (air flow), and you can order two different baffles depending on how much air flow you need. It is fairly loud so unless you have some suped up engine that needs a ton of air flow, I'd suggest the louvered baffles.

Bob at Fuel Moto suggested the louvered baffles. I have .583 cams, and powervision tuner on it now. No big bore kit yet. Thanks man. I appreciate it.

I’ve had both

fatcat first. Long, heavy, tinny note. I had the louvered baffle which apparently is the least tinny sounding of the baffles. Good sound and power. Doesn’t like tall shocks, my 13.25 shocks would touch the muffler when parked making a notch. sold it.

RR3 the stainless version of a rr2. Shorter then a fatcat, the endcap meets the lower shock mount but with proper spacing will never touch eachother. Clean crisp note, it does have a weird idle that some people don’t like(doesn’t bother me) and it’s great for long trips with my full face and plugs. Also way lighter then the fatcat easily by 15lbs

ill see if I can dig up some vids of both. My bike has Andrews 48h cams

EDIT: my vid files aren’t supported on here
