Street Bob Running Hot
I recently participated in a Toy Run here in South Florida and noticed my 16 Street Bob got much hotter than it ever has before, my inner thighs were roasting.
There was a good half hour of just parade duty stop and go type riding as we all filtered into the park.
Im thinking it was just because of the slow speeds but am a little concerned. Had the bike 3 years and never experienced it quite that hot, havent ridden since.
Anyone with a similar experience? Should I be concerned?

middle of the summer in Phoenix traffic 110*F ambient (can't lane split here) and i had some burns on the inside of my right thigh and calf. clutch wasn't too happy about it either, still running strong now with no issues

Normal heat. It can be surprising how much heat these bikes will throw at your legs. I live in MA, and if we had Phoenix temps, I'd definitely be adding an oil cooler...

100% normal. Dont matter if you have a 1200 sportster, or a 117 lrs, high temps and no air flow will make em miserable. I do my best to avoid those types of situations but if it happens it happens.
