What year breakout fender did you use? I know the mounting changed at some point.

I know on the newer breakouts the fender mounts on one side of the fork just like a 2010 + wide glide.

It’s the early model fender. I just trimmed the length of the mounting brackets and re drilled the holes.

I have been trying to find out the cheapest way to do this on on 09 Custom. I gave up, not going to spend a minimum of $1k. The cheapest I way out is a 2013-2015 Breakout on Ebay for about $650 for a single front. Lots of f&r sets but back is 8" wide. Couple of guys have done this on the Softail forum and were able to use their same spacers. I just bit the bullet and put a 90/90-21 that is the same height but 1/4 wider or so. Not paying $1200 or so for a custom wheel but that is just me. My back wheel is solid so any type wheel will go, really wanted to get away from a spoke wheel.

the first thing I did to my wide glide was get rid of the 80/90 and put on a 90/90, it is a big improvement. I then went to the 120. The 120 feel’s like running 19 inch rim and tire. The problem also with the 2 1/8 rim is they get bent easily

Mags spokes whatever, do yourself a favor and do the 120 up front. You will love it!!

I would worry about that wide of tire on 2.15" wheel but that is just me. Still going keep my eye out for a deal on BO wheel, I want to run 120/70-21. Getting ready to replace my 200/55-17 on rear.

running what a 120 on a 2.15? Do you honestly think that is even possible? It’s ok you just need a lot of fixaflat!
