Hey guys I’m new to the forum but read it all the time!
I just bought a 2014 Street Bob, and it has these shocks that I can not find a brand name for. From bolt to bolt they are 14 inches long (not sure if that’s how to measure).
I am unfamiliar with adjusting this type of suspension and was wondering if I could get some advice. Also, is that tab supposed to be resting in one of those slots?
Those are Works shocks with ARS. You are likely best off setting the sag at 25 to 33% then if you notice bottoming move from the deepest notch to next less deep notch. Don't usually see them on a Dyna but Bagger guys use the shocks and change position of the arm based on bike load out, passenger, gear, etc.
The arm sets the crossover point between the lighter spring and the heavy one.
