Only drawback of a salvage titled bike is resale value. It had to be inspected to get the new title so chances are it's OK. You might want to check into insuring it first since that might be a problem with coverage and value.

Agreed, especially in my market. Purchased a 09 FXDC with 6600 miles on the OD for $5900, with a good title.

Way too much even if it had a clean title.

You don’t get a salvage title from dropping it. More like crashing.
