Default Quieter baffles for V&H slipons

I like my V&H pipes, they look and sound great, but even with the "quiet" baffles in they're quite antisocial. Does anybody make quieter baffles that might fit, or can the V&H baffles be modified to quieten them a bit?

I had the same problem with my big shots. Loved the sound but too much after a couple of hours.
I finally sold mine, and put the stock exhaust back on. Now looking into some Rush slip on's.
Good luck with yours!

It shouldn't be too difficult to modify them, just need to know what works really.

To quieten the baffles you will need to make your own mods as they are either too quiet (standard/SE) or too loud ... google it ... basically you need to adjust the airflow through the baffles. Its better not to just stuff them full of fibreglass (the easiest fix) ... long time ago i made a set using washers welded around a pipe with holes in it so it might be a plan to weld a set of large washers inside the existing baffles to mix up the airflow on the way out. Here's a web site with the same sort of idea ... http://www.wrench-wench.com/maint/maint-kaw-baffles.htm

Remember any change to baffles will adjust the back pressure and engine/air mix ... more back pressure = richer mix.
