Thanks. Above 65 mph I feel some buffeting wearing a 3/4 helmet with face shield but not too bad, less with a half helmet. It is also sitting a couple of inches lower than the highest position possible on the forks.

Nice. Post up a picture of yours, I'd love to see it. I've sank some money into maintenance too, with new tires being the bulk of it. The bike came with tires that were old and hard as rocks. I put American Elites on and that transformed the bike. I did flush the entire brake system, made an amazing difference in the braking performance. I'm a stickler for maintenance and especially brakes. I do a complete flush every 2 years.
What type of comfort mods did you do? I have 4" bar risers on the way, hopefully I'll have them Friday. I bought a nice quick release windshield off of here, but it causes too much buffeting so I'll get around to selling that. I'm waiting for a Dart Marlin Flyscreen to arrive, hopefully that's all I'll need to relieve some of the wind pressure at high speed. I'm still not sure what to do about the seat... I'd hate to spend $300 - $600 to find out I don't like it.
Here is a recent picture after I added bags and put a stock exhaust on.
14" Burly bars purchased from a member here, new seat, Kuryakn stirrups to add to the footpegs. Those were the basic creature comforts. Lots of other work put into it, though.
Just wish the weather would cooperate so I could get some more miles.
Cool looking bike. My hands are going numb looking at how high your bars are, LOL. I see you have a late-model Low-Rider seat; is that more comfortable than what came with your bike originally, or is that what was on there when you got it?

I see you have Viking bags, too. I just put those on a couple of weeks ago, and they were a total PITA because of how poor the directions were. I have their quick-release system and the instructions were anything but. I needed some extra bolts/spaces in 5/16; fortunately I had what I needed, as I wasn't about to go out to a hardware store right now.
