Of course we all know windshields look like crap unless the bike was designed for it. As an add on, it's personal preference.
Long/cold rides are made nicer with them but is does still look like a$$.
That being said, a very smartdude once told me......

"It's smart to be hard, but it's hard to be smart........"

And this dude was hard as woodpecker lips, old Marine who'd "been there, done that"!!!
