Speed balancing is definitely better. Road force is better yet. I'm not aware of anybody doing Road Force on Moto wheels, tho.
I attribute some of my success to extremely careful wheel truing and repeated checking of the static balance as I added components. Took a long time. Was planning to get it close with weights and then add some Ride-On to finish it right. Never needed to add the Ride-On.
Makes a lot of sense, Mike. Probably too expensive and slow to stay viable.
I've had three cars that were extremely sensitive to imbalance and/or out-of-true rotating assemblies (brake, tire, wheel, hub, etc.) An on-chassis balancer would have been very welcome by me for those cars. Spent a lot of time shimming and clocking rotors and wheels and taking extreme care with mating face cleanliness and torque procedures/values.
Btw Tarik, if you end up using Beads, make sure you get the applicator bottle/hose (or an equivalent). If you get frustrated trying to get the beads through the valve stem ... come back

Oh, don't worry... I'm sure I'll be back!!!
I actually ordered a couple of bottles of Ride-On. For whatever reason, the slower moving gel seemed to make sense to me. We'll see!
I never rebalanced my front wheel after the rotor swap. Possibly in my mind (and possibly something entirely different), but the front wheel hasn't felt properly "in balance" to me ever since (though certainly not terrible). It's supposed to arrive tomorrow, so hopefully I can provide a report sometime soon.

I would be interested in what you think having used both.
