I did some searching here and on the Power Vision site but couldn't find an answer.
I have an SE Tuner that I bought with my '17 FXDB. I should have done more research because now I'd really love to have a Power Vision. I know that once the SE tuner is married, it's all over, no re-dos, but I'm wondering, with a Power Vision can I tune the Sporty that my wife is about to get and then pay for an extra license for my St. Bob? I don't want 2 SE's or Power Vision's just sitting around.
Yes. You can buy a second license for (I think) $100. Recommend Fuel Moto who doubles the warranty, gives you a free mount and sun shade, and will pre-load a tune for you (and upgrade tunes as you modify your bike).

Thanks
It's $200 for the license. Once you get the bike you'll need to plug into it and send Fuel Moto the data. They got me a second license and tune in one business day. Can't beat those guys. Heres a link https://www.fuelmotousa.com/i-209454...e-license.html
Just remember that while FuelMoto is probably one of the most accommodating businesses out there, when you buy a power vision from them they give you free tunes and support for the life of the unit. I don’t think you get eternal support with a license. I think it’s just an initial tune. But check with them.
I doubt they would turn you away, but it might get awkward if you need a lot of tune support at some point.
And remember, the PV doesn’t have to “sit around” they have configurable digital gauges that can be put up on your bars so you don’t have to look down at your tank. I do it on every bike. Don’t think I could live without it.
(I know, it would be a better pic if the PV was actually displaying gauges)
Like @Mchad said, purchase through Fuelmoto and you get unlimited map support no matter what you change on the bike, I can tell you as someone who has bought one from both FM and Dynojet. FM got my business because Dynojet gave me no help outside of "just download this map" when it was the one I already told them I was using. FM gave me a mount which I have used since day one. I never even think of taking my PV off my bike.
Thanks, guys. We picked up the Sporty yesterday and I've been emailing with Bob at FM. I will be getting the PV and license from them. Now if I can get the wife to settle on an AC style she likes I could start ordering things!
I live right by FM and rode there to buy my PV. Bob was great guy and I feel I got a great deal and good customer experience. When I put cams in this winter they will put in a map for me.
