Hi guys. I’ve been having a strange intermittent issue with my 2016 low rider s. Every once and a while I start getting the abs light coming on and off while I ride. Usually this is the first sign that things are going to get worse. After the abs light goes on and off a few times my engine and battery light will come on and I will get stuttering and surging issues. This is usually short lived and often after a few seconds the bike will pick right back up and take off. Luckily every time it happens I’m getting close to home and I’m able to make it safely while fighting the problem over and over. I’ve checked for codes when getting home and there never are any. This has happened a few times over the summer and it’s making me question a few longer rides I have planned.
Any suggestions on what this could be? Can an abs issue be the root of the problem or is it just a symptom? I’m thinking maybe a grounding issue. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
I will add that the bike has had pipes and a FP3 on it since the week I bought it home new. Other than that just minor cosmetic changes. The issue is new this year.

Doesn't sound like a brake problem. If you think it's a grounding issue you should check battery connections, starting with the battery terminals and the ground connection to the frame.
