ABS light flashing

ABS light flashing

Hello, any one have experience with the abs light flashing when the bike is running? Any suggestions where to start?

mine blinks anytime i'm at less than about 20 mph.

abs light is supposed blink up until 15-20mph then should stop. If it keeps blinking after 20 then there is a problem.

That's wrong. It should blink when you first start the bike. As RKKY said, once you've passed about 15 mph, it should be off. Actually, mine usually goes off by the time I hit the end of the driveway and I'm no where near 15 mph at that point. Anyway, once it goes out, it should stay off unless something goes wrong with the system. If it's coming back on at any time after that, you need to get it looked at. If the light is on or flashing, the ABS is "not" functioning!

I don't have abs, but check the easy stuff first. Fluid level, bleed, and connections.

That's in line with what my bike is doing. As I said before, mine is off by the time I reach the end of the driveway. If RKKY's is staying on a little longer than that, I wouldn't worry about it as long as it's consistent. Either way, the point is that once the light goes off, it shouldn't come back on again. If it does, there's a problem with the system and it needs to be checked.
