Did it run before you replaced the petcock? Replaced with a stock petcock? Did you check the carb bowl, was gas in it. A dry bowl takes a little time to fill up, then use the enrichener **** to help start the cold engine. If not, the carb may need a good cleaning, may have some varnish in the little orifices.
