New Bike Problems again
Well just got the 09 lowrider couple of weeks ago . Left to go on a ride today for our 26th wedding anniversary. Just left the house when the bike atarted lurching and then just went dead. Luckly one of my wifes customers from her salon came by and gave us a ride home . Thought it might be a battery cable problem so gathered up some tools went back and pulled the cover. Sure enogh negative terminal was loose tightned it up turned the key on and bike started back up . On the ride back to our house it was missfiring badly killed it and now its dead again . Checked cable and its still tight going to clean and check all the connections tomorrow . Anything else i should look at it ? The battery tested good with my meter .

Static voltage may tell you if the battery is charged, sort of.... but it won`t tell you if the battery is any good.
The battery must be load tested.
Take it to an auto parts store and they will test it for free (must be fully charged first).

I wouldn't be without a load tester in my shop.
