Default Ques about paint oxidation???

Okay, so this is my first bike(dyna 03 anniversary ed.) that I just got last week as some of you already know. Mine is 2 tone silver & black. But I've noticed the silver part of the paint is rough instead of smooth like the black part of the paint. It's not just the tank, it's the fenders as well. The fenders have the roughness on some of the black too. So would you call this oxidation? I'm using some mother's product for oxidation and just not getting good results yet. Maybe I need to wax it afterwards. I've used the oxidation treatment on it twice, after I first tried to wax it. Any suggestions?
Thanks

caution what you use on paint... i would go ask a pro painter . silver paint always seem to loose the shine fast , even on cars i have always noticed this fact . the shine will come back if done correct... 100% chance . black is a bear to take care of too. but awesome when shined and polished correct. worse comes to worse. a pro can buff out the paint for you. let a pro do it tho.... just my opinions here.. good luck .
