Default Help figuring out throttle cable length

I know it's been asked before, but I haven't been able to find the info I need. Trying to figure out the proper length of throttle and idle cables I need for the 02' fxdwg I'm building. I attached the info on the handle bars I threw on the bike. Not sure if it effects the necessary length but I'm running a super e shorty carb on the bike. Any info, help,or knowledge is appreciated.

Cheers.

Unless somebody here has done the same thing, or real close, you'd be better off measuring for the cables when you have the bars on.

Fair enough. I took a body tape measurer and measured from where they'd come out of the hand controls and followed the path I plan to route them down to where they'd connect down on the super e. I believe it came out close to 34.

When I use to build em I used a roll of solder I had around to run/design where I wanted the cables and used it determine the length. You could do the same with a piece of wire as long as rigid enough. I clothing ruler may work but might have too much sag to give you an accurate measure.

I changed both two weeks ago. I have a 2006 FXDC. The original owner ordered the bike with bars that were +2 from stock, and fit my “14 T-bars perfectly. They are 31.5”

If that helps.
