2015 dyna fat bob battery keeps draining overnight.

fat bob with new battery keeps draining after a few days. I disconnected negative cable and attached test light to neg. cable and back to neg. battery terminal, it lights up. A short somewhere. Any ideas of where to find problem?

How long has the issue existed?
You say a new battery is in bike, did the problem exist with the old battery?
A test light will not tell you what you need to know, you need to get a multimeter (a 10 dollar cheapie will do fine).
It is not a short...

If it’s a autostore battery, check the date on it...I bought a “new” battery that turned out to be 3 years old sitting there...wouldn’t hold a charge....some auto stores don’t sell many motorcycle batteries so they sit there....check the date, .load test that bad boy then check for a short.
