Stereotypical RUBs don't check oil. I don't check it as often as I should..
A lot of the new pipe designs recognize that a lot of people now that buy Harleys use the maint shop to do all of that. The ones who don't and prefer style over function (or a good blend of both) don't mind removing the rear pipe. *shrug*
