Default Bike dead

I removed the engine and transmission from the frame to paint. Installing again in the frame, I connected all the parts, starter motor, handlebars, battery. When I turned the ignition key, nothing, no sign, the motorcycle seems to have no electricity in the system, apparently the ground cables are correct, fuses too, but there is no voltage in the max fuse. If anyone has a suggestion I appreciate it, I have no idea where to look.

More useful information would help, like what year and model.

Battery Voltage ??
Work out from the battery until you don't have voltage.
New paint??? Did you buff or grind to make sure ALL grounds are making goo contact?

Serious, it's simple as using a meter and tracing every wire power to ground.

start with exactly what TSheff stated and chase it down to where you have lost voltage.

Check your power wires, you should have 2 coming off either the starter solenoid (1 from battery to solenoid and from solenoid to main harness) or 1 to solenoid from battery and one to main harness from battery. Given that you have a maxi fuse I would venture to say that it should be the 2 on the solenoid.

I second this. It's usually pretty simple to work down the line from the battery until you reach a point that you don't have power. There's your problem. However, the first thing I'd look at is the battery ground. If you've just painted it, it's very possible (bordering on likely) that you're not getting a good ground on the frame.

Has the problem been resolved? If so, what did you find?
