As long as you have all LEDs for lighting. My suggestion, put a pigtail on the LOAD side of the main breaker or fuse and not directly to the battery like the Tender pigtail.
I tried a hated vest on my 94 FXSTC and it screwed up my regulator. It never popped the 7.5 amp pigtail fuse. Could have been a coincidence though.
I run Gears Canada heated jacket liner and gloves directly hooked to the battery via their pigtail provided. I run it that way on both of my bikes (Twincam Dyna and evo softail) and have been running it that way for about seven years

What's your Stator rated for? Mines 30 amps and I was told by a dealer my bike couldn't support heated gear.
Strange, I've used my Gerbing gloves and jacket liner with dual controller on my 1995, 1996, and 2003 sportsters, 1988, 2010 Road Kings, Triumph Bonneville, a couple of Suzuki's and a Thruxton.
I keep my revs up slightly, say 1200 at lights and stops. No reason, just idle might be too low.
I cannot not believe the Dyna is any different than my sporties.
I've ridden all day on the sporty at 24F at dawn and dusk, 28F the high.
I suppose, if you turned gloves, soles and liner up to 100% you might draw significantly more, but then you would be more of a man than I am, or you are a lobster. At power level three, I am toasty and it does not effect my motorcycle batteries or alternator.
Of course, you bike is unique and your experience could be the exception that breaks the rule.
I had had the advantage, my hands were freezing and I either needed heated gear or stop riding. I had the luxury to not overthink the process nor did I ask for Internet expert advice. After reading some of the responses to questions, I'm really glad I just did it and didn't ask for Internet experts to weigh in. I'd be using heat pals, or charcoal, or look like the staypuff marshmellow man if I listened to some experts here.
Look, I'm just passing on what a heated gear dealer told me.
Could he have been wrong? Sure, but I would have thought he
knew more than I did about the product he sold.
And my regulator Shitting the bed could have been a coincidence. It was 25 years old.
